He`s still looking kind of boy-ish and his left arm could use some more muscle, but I like his improved design, esp. his jaw and hair.

You`re right, the light comes from the low right so his hair is really dark up the top. I try to use more contrast in my colouring lately.
The hair has it`s normal colour more to the front.
I think reading a lot of webcomics and being on dA too much helped with the progress. I`m not sure if my style has changed a lot though.
