This is a comparison of how I have developed in background environments. I think I improved.

This is the first panel of my comic (the page is still in progress) I felt I had to open the comic in a stronger way with a more insight view of the jungle. This way I think it`s more clear where this story is playing.
The dragonflies will return in more panels on this page, I love drawing them

I`d love to hear your thoughts, esp. on the second panel of course. Do you think the colouring/shadowing is good this way or is it too much? I`d like to hear some critique about colour and drawing too.

Don`t really remember when I finished the first version of the panel, it`s too long ago though.
I really have to cut the amount of detail in panels with characters down for the sake of clutching and especially for saving time...

while the detail in the second is nice, the older one is playing with the composition and negative space slightly better than the first. the level of detail in the second is really good and i believe that if you combine the simplicity of the composition and a stronger negative with that detail, you'd end up with something far greater than both of those. all in all, good work

heyyy! this looks pretty good. Backrounds are very important part opf a comic if we want to illustrate a specific place.

I like that you've taken your time on drawing different shaped plants an vegetation in general and adding the dragonflies makes you imaging the sounds of the scene.

I also liked that you've used diferent kinds of green for the plants because it gives a lot of variety to the pic.

The only point I preffer the old pic is that you used black and dark green to color the leaves that are in first term. It makes it look like the important thing about the pic is the lushness of the jungle and makes you think that you are in there.

In general the deelopment is really good. and I'd love to read more pages of your comic
